It is a very recent architectural marvel of the Bahai faith and is Lotus shaped and has rightly been given the name. It is made of marble, cement, dolomite & sand. 9 am to 6 pm, closed on Mondays.

With this level of busyness, it's hardly serene and quiet to pray or meditate but more of getting yourself physically and mentally challenged. 2.5/10 pts recommended on Delhi's top spots.

It serves as the Mother Temple of the Indian subcontinent. Inspired by the lotus flower, its design is composed of 27 free-standing marble clad "petals" arranged in clusters.

A must see. The temple and gardens around it are beautiful, Inside it's a quiet atmosphere. Even if you do not pray or meditate, the quietness inside the temple is relaxing.

Wonderful architecture, long queues to get in even on weekdays, very crowded, be aware of Indians trying to take secret selfies with you!

Beautiful Baha'i temple! It's actually free to visit. Be prepared to take your shoes off as you walk in and to be silent in the temple.
